Short working lead also can be known as a pull tab made of two layers of latigo leather. This short leather lead has a floating ring made into the handle loop portion so you can attach a longer leash or line if desired. The snap on this is a Herm Sprenger French Scissor style snap. The Herm Sprenger quick release snap is strong, closes tight, yet when you need to let the dog loose is very easy to open by squeezing the snap together. It works much like a reverse tweezers. This a wonderful tool when working agitation or deployment with the dog. Being quick release you can instantly release the dog. Being a short lead you can drop the short lead to let the dog go and not have to worry about the lead getting tangled around the dogs legs causing injury to the dog. This short leather lead will also work well as a traffic lead. The length of this short lead is 12 inches.
