Mendota Slip Leash

This is a very handy leash. I leave one hanging by my back door for when my dogs have to make it outside quickly. This is a Mendota style leash also known as a slip lead. It is very easy to use as all you do is to slip the looped end over the dogs head and then snug it up by sliding the leather tab down the line. If the dog tugs and pull away from you the leash will become tighter on the dog. The other end has a comfy loop handle. This Mendota Leash is made from soft yet very strong 5/8 braided nylon rope. You will always have the right size collar at your finger tips with this handy lead. This has been my personal favorite puppy training leash for teaching the puppy to walk. It is wide, soft and adjustable. My puppy training has gone very fast using this lead to train the puppy how to walk along side me.
